How are you a friend to yourself?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for June 03, 2008:
As you would with your dearest, be fully present, heart wide open, and with an absence of judgement.
In truth, our every relationship is with ourself, for every relationship (even with the Absolute) can only be experienced through ourself. It is our only way of connection (go inward to reach out).
If we act with disdain or disregard toward ourselves, we get that stain all over everything we touch, no matter how we do not intend to.
Remember, self worth is a gift given and gifts cannot be justified, only accepted or rejected.

I agree with this part of me =)
Blessings to all aspects of our Self,
…and to all you hold dear,
