What is life?

Posted on Mar 4th, 2008 by C.G. : Sacred Vow C.G.
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for March 04, 2008:

Life is a multi-faceted improvisation so intricate that each member of the audience sees a production catered especially to their needs. It is a staged experience where every member is audience, cast, and playwright.

What will tomorrow bring?

Posted on Mar 6th, 2008 by C.G. : Sacred Vow C.G.
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for March 06, 2008:

I see sight folding back on itself,
seeing me,
causing an infinite branching of possibilities
due to the intrusion of my peering.

How do, or can, we create?

Posted on Mar 7th, 2008 by C.G. : Sacred Vow C.G.
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for March 07, 2008:

The Tao is swirling, ever-creating, intelligent energy. Most of the time we imagine an illusory identity by trying to  hold onto some illusion of constancy. We choose to resist, restrict that ever-changing swirl of creation tosome degree (though we are never fully successful--we will still be changing/changed).
In those spans where we let go and allow the vortex of creation to reflect in us, we create as we are being created--we join in the dance rather than our (too frequent) resistance.

What does 'normal' mean to you?

Posted on Mar 9th, 2008 by C.G. : Sacred Vow C.G.
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for March 09, 2008:

Normal outside of yourself is contextual, and there is generally some range of tolerance-ok, you can heal a few people on the QT, but NEVER walk on water and heal a few dozen out in the open!

Normal inside yourself is not a rigid, constant definition, but responding accurately to Spirit within you...at this (and every) moment--centering.

If you are holding your center (normal) and find yourself uncomfortably out of the tolerance range for normal in the environment, one may need to discern if the next step is to move to an environment where one is normal (or within tolerance). For as a whole, the normalcy of an area, time, environment is like a living organism and will seek to maintain its own contextual health/stability. However, its seems that "normal" will also (now and-rare-again) include a tolerance for a massive adjustment to the context (Jesus, Buddha, etc).

What have you been taking for granted?

Posted on Mar 11th, 2008 by C.G. : Sacred Vow C.G.
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for March 11, 2008:

My time to myself, up the mountain, in meditation, hidden in my 3' by 5' writing room.....and it has been costing me, slowly I dissolved--but I am returning to those places, refilling the emptied recesses.....
peace and wonder (and time to your deep, personal selves),

What is the biggest project you've taken on?

Posted on Mar 13th, 2008 by C.G. : Sacred Vow C.G.
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for March 13, 2008:

Write a novel without any training or any justification that one had the talent to do so. Then setup a publishing house to publish it and distribute it nationally/internationally.

What does it take? Naiveté, and a blinding enthusiasm that overcomes all the “impossibilities”! --Many great things would never come to pass if we actually knew ahead of time what the achievement would require of us.

---afterwards, it takes faith and centering to overcome the impact of blinding enthusiasm. But one should always follow dreams. What else is the passion of life?

What's the fiercest storm you've weathered?

Posted on Mar 20th, 2008 by C.G. : Sacred Vow C.G.
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for March 20, 2008:

I have had the good  fortune of my storms primarily being internal, the worst of which have been my own ignorance and illusions, fears and preconceptions. They have battered (and therefore shaped) me on this journey...but they have not beaten me!
